We play "Starlight Sonata" a lot. Great for dancing around the house in the mornings and for slumbering away at night.

-- Don, Bonnie & David Grandorff

I bought "Starlight Sonata" last year & enjoyed it so much I've worn it out!

-- Teresa Casper

Enjoyed your LP.

-- George Winston

Your new album is beautiful! We play it everyday, and sometimes all day long. (I know it's hard to believe, but it's true.) I love the cover also.

-- Moses Pendleton and Cynthia Quinn

Recently we had our first child (a son) who was born to the tape "Starlight Sonata" and we play it every time he nurses.

-- J.T. Schwindt

"Starlight Sonata" is an all instrumental album that is rich with a host of styles based on the traditions of American and British Isles folk music. The original pieces can be lighthearted, simple and romantic, or sometimes bold and broad. Mr. Ellis has successfully combined a variety of classical and folk instruments on these arrangements. Appealing and joyful, it's an album of good fun and cheer.

This is happy, festive music, with time included for reverie and love. It's just right for a picnic at your favorite arboretum, or any gathering of all ages with a common purpose of having fun, dancing a jig or a waltz, promenading your partner, or holding hands in a circle. It has a strong influence from classical, orchestral music, and a wholesome, joyous feeling.
