The NRB Waltz is a tune that was I was inspired to compose in the spring of 2008 after discovering Karen Pauley's radio program Nordic Roots & Branches streaming over the Internet from KSER-FM in Everett, WA. Karen adopted it as the theme song for her show in October 2010, each week selecting one of the versions to play.
After recording the original piano version, I then became inspired to create additional recordings reflecting the diverse musical genres heard on the program. Subsequently other musicians became inspired to create versions. This page is a compendium of those recordings.
